The Women's Group
The Women's Group was started in 2010 to raise awareness about the American Forest Foundation's programs to advance woodland conservation on family forest land and environmental education in every school.
Women across the country are nominated for The Women’s Group because they are interested in forest conservation, environmental education, and women supporting women.
"Joining the Women's Group of the American Forest Foundation is important to me personally because of the future of our environment and the education of our children. Professionally it will help me to learn about and be part of the future of our forests, which produce the most necessary resource for my industry – printing and publishing."
